Heritage and History
Frozen in time, the pioneer Endean's Mill; sole surviving complete native-timber steam sawmill in New Zealand is a feature of the tour. There is a stop along the way to see a working bullock team and a museum display of original equipment used when clearing bush country ready for farming.
Farm visits include a high performance dairy farm with state of the art rotary milking system and a sheep and beef farm
Stop at Te Kuiti the town of legends and sheep shearing capital of the world and home of 12 time world champion shearer Sir David Fagan and world famous New Zealand All Black Rugby icon, Sir Colin Meads.
